A massive protest held in the capital over insults to Prophet Muhammad by the Indian priest and the BJP leader's support for it.

On Friday, the protest march started from the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram after Jumaah prayers. The procession marched towards the capital's Shantinagar intersection and ended at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram.

Members of the anti-discrimination Qaumi Chhatra Oikya Parishad and the Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis organized the protest march, which started after a short rally.

At the rally, the leaders of the anti-discrimination Qaumi Chhatra Oikya Parishad said that they want the execution of those who insulted the Prophet Muhammad in India. “We will not tolerate insult of our Prophet. The perpetrators should be arrested immediately. Today we are protesting, tomorrow every Muslim in the country will protest over derogatory remarks about the Prophet Muhammad by Indian’s priest and BJP leader.
