Awami League urges activists to stay active on social media amid crisis

The Awami League, currently in a state of retreat following a student-led and public uprising that led to its removal from power, has called on its leaders and activists to become active on social media.

In a post on its verified Facebook page on Friday, the party described grassroots leaders and activists as the "beacons of hope" during times of crisis.

The directive said: “In this difficult time, your dedication and sacrifices for the party are our greatest strength. Stay active on social media, spread every message published from our page, strengthen party connections, and remain vigilant about the news at all times.”

Addressing its supporters, the party expressed gratitude to those who have continued to stand firm, saying: “We honor those who have stood firm with courage. Your sacrifices for the nation will never go in vain. Unity, courage, and struggle will guide our way. Stay prepared.”
