The organization has called on everyone to avoid being misled by false information.
This statement was made in a press release signed by the spokesperson of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee, Samanta Shermeen, on Saturday afternoon.
The release mentions that the committee has observed that various media outlets and social media platforms have linked the "Janashakti" political party to the leadership of the anti-discrimination student movement and the initiatives of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee.
This has caused confusion among the public.
