GM Quader, chairman of the Jatiya Party, talked about the significance of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia in the country's political landscape as he extended his best wishes ahead of her journey to London for advanced medical treatment.
The Jatiya Party chairman wished for Begum Khaleda Zia's recovery, good health, and long life in a goodwill message sent to the media on Tuesday.
He also expressed solidarity with BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, her family members, and followers of Begum Khaleda Zia.
In his message, the Jatiya Party chairman said: "Begum Khaleda Zia holds an important place in the country's politics. Her recovery is crucial for the welfare of the country and its people."
He also expressed hope that Khaleda Zia will return to the country in good health following her treatment.
