Royal Enfield models to cost less than R15, CBR

Royal Enfield has officially entered the local market with four models that cost less than Yamaha and Honda’s hugely popular flagship models.

Royal Enfield is a renowned motorcycle brand originally from Britain, blending retro aesthetics with modern technology.

IFAD Motors, the sole manufacturer and distributor of Royal Enfield in Bangladesh, introduced four 350cc models at an event at its flagship showroom in the capital's Tejgaon on Monday (October 21). The lineup includes the Hunter, Classic, Bullet and Meteor.

Muidur Rahman Tanvir, Head of Business for the Royal Enfield Division at IFAD Motors, announced the pricing for the newly launched models.

The Hunter will start at Tk 3.4 lakh, the Classic at Tk 4.05 lakh, the Bullet at Tk 4.10 lakh and the Meteor at Tk 4.35 lakh.

While the motorcycles have been unveiled, sales will not begin immediately. To purchase, customers must pre-book through the website or in-store. Pre-booking opens at 10am on Tuesday (October 22).

Bangladesh approved motorcycles up to 350cc in September last year.
