Sohel Rana, Thakurgaon: Former Organizing Secretary of Thakurgaon Municipal Awami League Md Obaidur Rahman`s pregnant mother Meherunnesa (60) has passed away. Innalillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun. He died at his residence in Nishchintopur mahalla of Thakurgaon municipality at around 2pm on Thursday.
The news of the death was confirmed by Md. Sabuj Zaman Liton, General Secretary of Thakurgaon Shop Workers Union and General Secretary of Dishari Club.
The late Meherunnesa is the wife of Md. Khoka Miah of Nishchintapur area. At the time of her death, she left behind a large number of admirers, including her husband, children and grandchildren.
