Jasim Uddin, the former DC (Superintendent of Police) of Mirpur, accused of the July-August massacre, has been arrested from Rangpur.
He was arrested by police on Wednesday (October 30).
Jasim is the first one to be arrested in the July-August genocide case. He is being brought to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) from Rangpur.
