Applications for admission to the first-year undergraduate programs at Dhaka University for the academic year 2024-25 began on Monday and will continue online until 11:59pm on November 25.
The application fee for each unit in the 2024-25 admission tests is Tk1,050, except for the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) unit, which requires a fee of Tk1,500.
Applicants can pay the application fee at any branch of four state-owned commercial banks Sonali, Janata, Agrani and Rupali or via online options, including debit or credit cards and mobile financial services.
Application procedure
According to the university’s admission announcement, applicants must access the link https://admission.eis.du.ac.bd to apply.
Only students who meet the eligibility criteria and graduated from high school or equivalent between 2019 and 2022 and completed their higher secondary or equivalent exams in 2024 are eligible to apply for various DU units.
There is no option for a second-time admission attempt.
Exam schedule
The admission tests for the 2024-25 session will start with the fine arts unit (general knowledge and drawing) on January 4, followed by the arts, law and social sciences unit on January 25, the science unit on February 1, and the business studies unit on February 8. The IBA unit's test is scheduled for January 3.
