Mashiur Rahman, Sarisabari: A new executive committee of Sarisabari Press Club under Jamalpur district has been formed. The seven-member committee was reconstituted with Solaiman Hossain Harek, upazila representative of the daily Samakal, as president and Faruk Hossain Firoz, upazila correspondent of Jaijaidin, as general secretary.
On the occasion, a special general meeting was held at the Press Club Hall on Monday night under the chairmanship of Press Club President Solaiman Hossain Harek and conducted by Daily Nayadiganta correspondent SM Ibrahim Hossain Lebu.
Other officials of the committee are Vice President MA Rauf (Manabjamin and Bangladesh Today), Joint General Secretary Mominul Islam Kismat (Kaler kantha and Ekattar TV), Finance Secretary Shahidul Islam Nirab (Asian Age and Deshkal), Executive Member ASM Zulfiqar Rahman (Ittefaq and MTV). And Mostaq Ahmed Monir (Bhorer Kagoj and Asian TV).
