Ekushey Book Fair will remain open from 3:00pm to till 6:30pm

SAT DESK : The daily schedule of Ekushey Book Fair-2021 has been changed considering the worsening situation of Covid-19 in the country.

Now, the book fair will remain open from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm, instead of 8:00 pm, according to a Bangla Academy press release.

The fair, which is usually held in February, started on 18 March this year and will continue till 14 April.

Due to the increase in coronavirus infection, the time of Amar Ekushey Book Fair has been reduced. The fair stalls were open every day from 3 pm to 8 pm. But today, from Wednesday (March 31), the book fair will run from 3 pm to 6 pm.

This information has been given in a press release signed by Apresh Kumar Banerjee, Director of Public Relations, Information Technology and Training Department of Bangla Academy.

In the growing corona situation in the country, the schedule of `Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2021` has been changed from March 31 today. From now on, the book fair will start at 3 pm and will end at 6:30 pm.

Although the fair starts in February every year, it has started on March 16 due to Corona. This year`s book fair covers an area of ​​about 1.5 million square feet in the Bangla Academy premises and the historic Suhrawardy Udyan.
