Jhalakathi Sukanya Akhter Maria won the National Award for Dance

Jhalakathi Sukanya Akhter Maria got the National Award. On the occasion of International Dance Day, the countrywide National Dance Competition - 2024 participated in the B category and won the best gold medal in folk dance across the country.

 

Jhalkathi Sukanya Akhter Maria received the award and certificate from Director General of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Prof. Nehal Ahmed as the chief guest at the award and certificate distribution ceremony organized at Jatiya Shilpakala Academy Auditorium on Monday, July 15.

 

Sukanya Akhter Maria father Jhalkathi is a prominent businessman and social worker and convenor of Jatiya Sramik League Jhalkathi district branch Md Butar Hossain and Mosa: Sonia Akhter is the second daughter of the couple. She is an eighth grade student of Jhalkathi Govt Harchandra Girls High School. He is well known as a musician, dramatist and dancer. 

Convener of Sukanya Baba Jatiya Sramik League Jhalkathi district branch Md Butar Hossain said that he won many national awards for this.
