Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul, has urged the Hindu community not to feel helpless and fall into the trap of any political party.

He assured them of the government's support and emphasized that all citizens have the freedom to express their opinions independently.

"You are citizens of Bangladesh, and under the leadership of the chief adviser, we will do everything possible to protect your rights," Dr Nazrul said during a discussion at the Shri Shri Mahaprabhu's Akhra Durga Puja Mandap in Sirajganj municipal town on Friday afternoon.

Addressing concerns about the sudden granting of bail to murder case defendants, he said: "We are committed to ensuring justice for all. I will soon address the issue of bail during a press briefing at the ministry."

Dr Nazrul further said that an International Crimes Tribunal would soon be formed. "The prosecution team has gathered substantial evidence of the brutal mass killings that took place in July and August. Once the trials begin, all doubts and questions will be resolved," he added.

He also highlighted that the recent political movements in the country involved people of all faiths.

"The movement was not specific to any one religion. People from all religious backgrounds participated. In this country, there are no minorities—we are all citizens of Bangladesh," Dr Nazrul said.
