Four people were killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles near the toll plaza of the Padma Bridge South police station in Zajira, Shariatpur, late on Sunday.
The deceased were Arman, 18, Khidir, 20, Nabil, 17, and Sayem, 20.
According to police, two of the four victims died on the spot. The other two were seriously injured and taken to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The officer-in-charge of Padma Bridge South police station said no complaints had been filed by the families of the deceased yet.
