Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday said the country will lead to a dangerous situation if the ‘insects’ of the fallen fascist government are in the public administration.
The BNP leader came up with the observation while talking to reporters during leaflets distribution program to prevent dengue in Gulshan area of the capital in the afternoon.
Mentioning the interim government, Rizvi said, “You must maintain humanity, but it should not be for those who did not show humanity, who encouraged fascist Sheikh Hasina to shoot the protesting students.”
“If the insects of dictator Sheikh Hasina are in the public administration, they will stop you (govt) at every step,” he said.
He also urged the government to set all the bright and talented people in different positions in the public administration those who were in favor of democracy or those who were neutral.
The BNP leader said, “The political parties that will come to state power through free, fair and credible elections must work with honesty and sincerity.”
He added: “The interim government led by Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has to create that way. They have to create the necessary ground for free, fair and credible elections. But it should not be prolonged.”
BNP’s Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Executive Committee Member Nazim Uddin Alam, Swechhasebak Dal Leader Dr. Zahidul Kabir, Juba Dal Leader Mehbub Masum Shanto, Arifur Rahman Tushar, Chhatra Dal Leader Dr. Abdul Awal, Masudur Rahman Masud, Raju Ahmed, among others, were present at the event.
