‘India’s foreign ministry statement is part of masterplan’

BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Wednesday said the statement of foreign affairs ministry of India over doubts about security of minority in Bangladesh is a part of ‘masterplan’. 

He said, “The statement of Indian ministry of foreign affairs expressing doubts about the security of the minorities in Bangladesh is not only unpremeditated, but also it is a part of a deep masterplan.”

The BNP leader came up with the observation while speaking at a program during distribution of leaflet to create awareness among common people in preventing dengue in the city’s Goran area.

Rizvi said, “The conspiracies are not being stopped. There are many conspiracies going on. Has there been any disturbance during Durga Puja in the country?”

He added: “There has been no disturbance. The leaders and activists of BNP and its front organizations ensured security in different puja mandaps in the country.”

With Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP’s Member Secretary Tanvir Ahmed Robin in the chair, the event was moderated by BNP leader Yunus Mridha.

The event was also attended, among others, by BNP Health Affairs Secretary M. Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Organizing Secretary Professor Aminul Islam, Executive Committee Member Habibur Rashid Habib, Foreign Affairs Committee Member Engineer Ishraque Hossain, Swechhasebak Dal Leaders Dr. Zahidul Kabir and Arifur Rahman Tusher, Jubo Dal Leader Mehbub Masum Shanto and Chhatra Dal Leader Dr. Awal.
