Hosts India scored 376 runs losing all of their wickets in the first innings against Bangladesh as Tiger pacer Hasan Mahmud took five wickets during their first Test at M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai today.

India resumed day two on 339/6 with centurion Ravichandran Ashiwn batting on 102 and Ravindra Jadeja was unbeaten on 86.

Bangladesh took the new ball straightaway on day two morning and Taskin Ahmed made the breakthrough in the third over of day two’s play when Jadeja got out without adding any more runs in his previous day’s score.

Then Bangladesh pacers took the remaining three wickets within the first hour of day two and pacer Hasan Mahmud took the last wicket to complete his five wicket-haul.

Hasan became the first Bangladeshi bowler to take a five-for against India on Indian soil.
