Bangladesh team super fan 'Tiger Ravi' was taken to hospital by Uttar Pradesh police. He alleged that Indian fans harassed Ravi in the gallery during the second Test between Bangladesh and India in Kanpur. This supporter of the Bangladesh team also said that he was hit in the ribs. Later the police sent him to the hospital for treatment.
Confirming the fact that Ravi has been sent to the hospital, a police officer on duty at the Kanpur Green Park Stadium media center told that 'We have sent him to the hospital. Doctors will check if he has any problem or not. He claimed he was harassed.'
The police officer also said that the whole incident will be investigated, 'We have CCTV cameras. We will see what actually happened there.'
On the first day of the Kanpur Test, it started raining during the midday break. At this time, Tiger Robi went inside the gallery. He alleged that there was a fight due to a discussion with some local supporters.
Earlier, Ravi had alleged that he was harassed by Indian fans during the first Test between the two teams in Chennai as well.
