A 11-member Executive Committee of the Bengal Community of North America (BCNA) was formed with Arun Kumar Ghosh as president and Sukumar Roy as its General Secretary for the term of 2024-2026.
The newly formed committee was formed at the biennial meeting of the organization, held at Queens Palace of Queens city of New York in USAon November 10 this year.
In the meeting, Dr Samir Sarker and Dilip Chakrabarty selected as Vice-president, Prabir Banarjee as Assistant Secretary, Ranajit saha as treasurer and Afroza Pervin as Assistant Treasurer.
Four Executive Members of the committee have been also selected. They are: Uttam Saha, Deepak Kumar Acharjee, Sweety Saha and Sitangshu Guha.
Bengal Community of North America (BCNA), a non-profit socio-cultural organization of the Bengalis of the United States of America, formed is to promote and contribute to charitable, religious, literary, and educational activities with particular emphasis on the heritage of Bengali community people of North America.
